WASHINGTON, D.C. (November 6, 2025) — For 13 years in a row, The Employment Law Group® law firm has been honored as one of the nation’s “Best Law Firms” by Best Lawyers, a legal guide formerly partnered with U.S. News & World Report.
In its 2026 edition, the prestigious list ranked TELG in employment law and litigation as a Tier 1 firm in Washington, D.C., and a Tier 3 firm nationally — signaling what publications have called “a unique combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal expertise.”
The “Best Law Firm” rankings are based on a rigorous evaluation process involving client references, peer reviews, industry leader interviews, and more. Researchers for the 2026 edition reviewed 26 million evaluations of more than 129,000 individual lawyers from more than 24,000 firms.
Only 2,340 firms — of which TELG was one — received a national ranking in the 2026 list.
Client and professional references are asked to provide feedback on firms and lawyers as a part of the process. One TELG client, when interviewed, said, “No other firm would have handled my case with the care, precision and personal attention that The Employment Law Group has shown.”
Firms are not eligible for “Best Law Firms” unless at least one of their attorneys already appears in the affiliated The Best Lawyers in America, which recognizes the top five percent of practicing lawyers in the U.S. All of TELG’s principal attorneys have been honored individually for years.
