WASHINGTON, D.C. (September 10, 2026) — Virginia Lawyers Weekly selected The Employment Law Group’s managing principal, R. Scott Oswald, for inclusion in its 2026 class of “Leaders in the Law.” This is the first time Mr. Oswald has received this honor.
Virginia Lawyers Weekly, a legal newspaper, selects an annual class of lawyers who are “setting the standard” based on outstanding contributions to Virginia law, impact within Virginia’s legal community, and other significant legal achievements.
Mr. Oswald and 25 other recognized attorneys will be honored at an awards celebration on October 29, 2026, near Richmond, Virginia.
While this is Mr. Oswald’s first time being awarded this honor, the newspaper has previously recognized his contributions to the field of employment law. Virginia Lawyers Weekly has named Mr. Oswald a go-to employment lawyer since 2024.
