Evaristo Pineda joined The Employment Law Group® law firm in May of 2015 as a Receptionist/Client Services Specialist. Prior to that, Mr. Pineda worked for an immigration law firm in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mr. Pineda received a cum laude Bachelor of Arts degree in International Studies from the University of the Sacred Heart in San Juan, Puerto Rico. While at college he was selected for the prestigious Córdova & Fernós Program, a competitive internship that brings Puerto Rican university students to Washington, D.C.
In Washington Mr. Pineda interned for U.S. Sen. Harry Reid, working at the Democratic Policy & Communications Center. He participated in the Energy Working Group at a Model Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) simulation run by the Osgood Center for International Studies.
Mr. Pineda brings to the TELG firm his language skills and international experience: He studied abroad in Brazil, and volunteered at Rio + 20, the United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development.
He plans to attend law school to specialize in international or immigration law.
