Ian Carder
Law Clerk

Ian Carder is a part-time evening law student at University of Baltimore School of Law, expected to graduate in May 2028. After his first year, he was inducted into the Royal Graham Shannonhouse III Honor Society as a distinguished scholar. Mr. Carder earned his bachelor’s degree in legal studies at the University of Baltimore.

Prior to joining The Employment Law Group® law firm, Mr. Carder worked as a paralegal for the Maryland Public Defender’s Office in the Parental Defense Division, working to reunite families. He also held leadership positions in the real estate and movie theater industries as a branch operations manager and general manager, respectively.

Outside of school and work, Mr. Carder can be found climbing, cooking, enjoying films at his local theater, and competing in global game development competitions.
