What Happened in Court

The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit partially overturned a previous decision by the Merit Systems Protections Board by finding that the Chief of the National Park Service engaged in protected conduct under the Whistleblower Protection Act when she disclosed to the media that the was an increased number of accidents on the Baltimore Washington Parkway during a period in which the Parkway was patrolled by two officers instead of the recommended four.
