WASHINGTON, D.C. (November 25, 2025) — Northern Virginia Magazine named four principals from The Employment Law Group® law firm in its 2025 list of Top Lawyers — including Michael L. Vogelsang, who’s been honored for the first time.

Northern Virginia Magazine releases its list annually. To compile the list, lawyers practicing in northern Virginia or Washington, D.C., are asked to recommend other local attorneys across various legal specialties. The attorneys who are recommended the most receive the Top Lawyers designation.

Northern Virginia Magazine honored TELG for the first time in 2019 with the inclusion of TELG principal Adam Augustine Carter. Mr. Carter and TELG principal Nicholas Woodfield have both been named to the list four times. R. Scott Oswald, TELG’s managing principal, has been a Top Lawyer for six years in a row since 2020. This is the first year that Mr. Vogelsang has appeared on the Top Lawyers list.

All four attorneys are recognized for their focus on employment law and whistleblower law.
