Amelia Schubert-Zhang is a law clerk at The Employment Law Group® law firm and a part-time law student at the University of Denver. She grew up in Colorado, then received her B.A. from Arizona State University and spent several years abroad. Ms. Zhang returned to Colorado for graduate school and received her Ph.D. in cultural geography from the University of Colorado in 2016.

Prior to joining TELG, Ms. Zhang worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in the Farm Service Agency, serving as the county executive director for La Plata and Archuleta counties. After the pandemic, she returned to law school with a focus on natural resource law and taxation.

In her spare time, Ms. Zhang volunteers with the CASA Children’s Advocacy program and coaches tee-ball.
